CasaGarage presented a redesign of the iconic Renault 5 at Salone del Mobile 2022 in Milan combining the concept of automotive design with the interior one.
The project was born from the idea of revolutionizing the world of interior design by integrating it with automotive design, rethinking the car not as a means of transport but as a work of design.
The interiors have been completely covered with the highest quality fabrics which together with the parquet laid on the floor and the custom-designed wall lamps create a warm and comfortable environment.
The exterior was completely repainted with a special paint which, thanks to a pronounced texture, recalls a real plastered wall, three different shades were used, giving the small R5 an unmistakable style.
Despite it's being designed as a show car, we wanted to do things right and before carrying out any redesign work we completely overhauled the car so that it is 100% functional and ready to amaze car and design enthusiasts wherever it goes.
